The Common Application is an undergraduate college admission application that applicants may use to apply to any of more than 800 member colleges and universities in 49 states and the District of Columbia, as well as in Canada, China, Japan, and many European countries.

What is the Common Application? The Common Application is a single online college application form used by over 700 colleges and universities. Instead of filling out the same general information—like your address, GPA, and extracurriculars— a dozen times, you only have to do it once.

5. Filling out all essential information

In this section, you have to fill all the information under each tab because this information is the inputs for other sections to function.

6. Search for the university you like to enroll in.

In this section, you can find a list of universities or search your desired university by name, or using other filtering options provided.

7. Admission information along with other essential deadlines. 

Once you have selected your university go to the tab “My College” to see your selected universities and also to get information on the admission process, required documents, and admission deadline.

8. Additional requests from Common App before submitting your application.

This information may vary as you go from one university to another so make sure for every university you have provided the correct information.
